AI without restrictions
Short answer: take Obscurify.ai for no identity and no trackers, Venice for images and low entry price, Duck.ai and Proton Lumo for a familiar brand, Local Mode or Ollama for no network at all. The table below is the same information without the sales copy.
“Without restrictions” is a family of different wants. Someone means no signup, someone means no refusals, someone means no ISP seeing it. This page scores each service on all of them, and names the one thing each does better than the rest, including where we lose.

What each is genuinely better at
- Venice: image, video and audio generation, native apps, characters, and the cheapest paid entry. If you need pictures, this is not the service for you.
- Duck.ai: the fastest path to a competent answer with no signup at all, and a brand most people already trust.
- Proton Lumo: if you already pay for Proton, the account you have is the whole setup.
- ChatGPT: frontier reasoning and the ecosystem. It is the default for a reason.
- Ollama: nothing leaves the machine, if your hardware can carry the model.
- Obscurify.ai: no third-party scripts anywhere, Monero, an account that is a number, uncensored models on top of that, and a working onion address.
Where we lose, plainly
No image or video generation. No native iOS app (Android exists). A higher entry price than Venice. No TEE or encrypted inference: frontier providers still see the prompt, on zero-data-retention routes. And if you want a large local model rather than a hosted one, Ollama on your own machine beats any hosted service for privacy.

Here and Duck.ai load no third-party scripts. Venice’s own policy allows analytics and ad pixels.
Which is cheapest?

Do any of them generate images?
Venice does. This service does not.
What if I want nothing to leave my machine?
Use Local Mode in the browser (up to Llama 3.2 3B) or Ollama for larger models. No network, no logs, no server.
