How it works
- Join below: pick a code. No email or ID needed. You get a 16-digit affiliate number to sign in with.
- Share your link:

- Get paid: commission is held until 45 days after the end of the month it was earned in (that covers card chargebacks), then paid the way you choose.
What earns commission
Commission is paid on paid spend: the part of an account's plan charges and usage that came out of money the account deposited. Free and promotional credit is always spent first and never earns: starter credit, referral bonuses, affiliate credit and any other promotional credit. Usage that runs past an account's balance doesn't earn either. So sign-ups alone earn nothing; real customers do.

Payouts run on the 5th of each month. Anything under the minimum carries over.
Privacy, for your referrals and for you
- No cookies. When someone opens your link, your code is kept only in their own browser's storage for 30 days (the most recent link wins). It is sent once, when they create an account, and the sign-up page shows "Referred by yourcode" with a button to remove it.
- Monthly totals only. Your dashboard shows clicks, sign-ups, paying accounts (as "fewer than 3" when small), paid spend and commission per month. Never individual accounts, and never daily figures per account.
- Your identity stays yours. Your affiliate number isn't linked to any Obscurify account you may have. Credit and Lightning payouts need no identity at all.

Questions
How long does a referral count?
For the life of the account. Commission recurs every time a referred account pays for a plan or uses paid credit beyond its plan. An account's affiliate is fixed when it signs up and can't be changed later.
Why can't I see who signed up?
Because Obscurify doesn't know who its users are either, and your referrals shouldn't be the exception. You see monthly totals. If you referred one friend, you'll see that month's total, never their day-by-day use.
When is my first payout?
Commission earned in a month becomes payable 45 days after that month ends, and is paid in the next monthly run (on the 5th) or, as credit, whenever you like. New affiliates are limited to $100 a month in cash for their first 90 days ($500 through Stripe).
Can I bid on "Obscurify" in ads or refer myself?
No. See the terms: no brand bidding, no spam, no fake reviews, no self-referral, and disclose that you earn a commission.
Do you use cookies to track my clicks?
No. We count clicks per day per code without storing anything about the visitor, and the link code lives only in the visitor's browser until they sign up.
