Pay for AI with Monero or Bitcoin

Short answer: Obscurify.ai takes Monero, Bitcoin on-chain and Lightning through its own self-hosted BTCPay Server, with no third-party crypto processor. Any amount works. Every payment becomes RSA blind-signed vouchers that you add to your balance, so Obscurify.ai can check a voucher is genuine but can’t tell which payment funded which account.

While many claim to offer “anonymous” payments in crypto, on the majority of services, they’re not actually anonymous. They keep a record of which wallet or invoice was used to pay for which account, and from then on your account, your payment, and your chats are tied to that single record. Some services even funnel your payment through a third-party processor that maintains their own separate record.

Obscurify.ai separates these two halves. Paying generates vouchers, and spending them happens later, from your account. The link between them is broken by cryptography, not by a promise.

How blind vouchers work

  1. You choose an amount and pay a BTCPay invoice in Monero, Bitcoin or Lightning, or pay by card.
  2. Your browser prepares voucher tokens and blinds them, so Obscurify.ai signs them without seeing them. This uses RSA blind signatures as specified in RFC 9474.
  3. Later, you redeem the unblinded vouchers to your account balance. Obscurify.ai can verify its own signature on each one, but it never saw the token at signing time, so it can’t match a voucher to the payment that bought it.

Crypto addresses take any amount, any number of times.

What it doesn’t hide

The caveats need to be precise. The payment remains visible where it happens: a Bitcoin transaction is recorded on a public ledger, BTCPay sees the invoice it issued, and Stripe knows which card was charged. Blind vouchers prevent any of these from being associated with your account.

An odd amount deposited into an account all at once can be matched on the amount and on the time. If that’s important to you, redeem vouchers in normal amounts, or at a different time than you paid. Monero conceals more on-chain than Bitcoin.

Self-hosted, no outside crypto processor

Payments via crypto are processed by Obscurify.ai’s own BTCPay Server, not by a hosted payment processor. Third parties will not collect any information regarding your crypto payment for Obscurify.ai.

The card goes through Stripe without an email or saved card. Stripe’s script is only loaded when a user begins a card payment, so it will never see a visitor paying with crypto.

What you can spend it on

Your balance is used to pay for 200+ models, including GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral, Llama, and many others, in the web chat or via the OpenAI-compatible API at each model’s stated price.

Plans are paid up front and continue to be renewed each month from your account as long as there’s enough money to cover the charges. Deposits aren’t refundable and have a five-year expiration date.

The account is anonymous too

There’s no point paying privately into an account tied to your email. On Obscurify.ai an account is a random 16-digit number, with no email, username, password, phone number or ID. New accounts get $1 of starter credit.

Common questions

Which cryptocurrencies are accepted?

Monero (XMR), Bitcoin on-chain and Bitcoin over Lightning.

Is there a minimum amount?

It can be any amount. Crypto addresses work with any amount, any number of times.

Can Obscurify.ai see which payment funded my account?

No. Payments turn into blind-signed vouchers, so Obscurify.ai can verify that a voucher is valid but has no idea which payment it came from. An unusual amount added all at once could still be matched by amount and time.

Is a third-party crypto processor involved?

No. Crypto payments go through Obscurify.ai’s self-hosted BTCPay Server.

Can I get a refund?

No. Deposits are non-refundable and expire five years after they’re made.
